Lovingly crafted for the culinary team, high tea lovers can start the true English way with scones, a mush have in every high tea, where there is nothing better than having the joy of spreading clotted cream and strawberry jam on a freshly baked scone, this rendition comes with traditional lemon curd also.
Moving on from the scones, the afternoon high tea set comes with three generous tiers of bite-sized tea cakes, pastries, sandwiches and tantalising savouries like the smoked salmon quiche and cheese straw.
To celebrate the Singapore Bicentennial, Executive Chef Bobby has turned up the local flavours with two delicate desserts of Chempedak Tart and Chendol Tiramisu. The fragrance of a specially crafted creamy Chempedak filling in a buttery, tender shell laced with a light and crumbly crust will sit well with the local palate. Also a tastebud winner is the Chendol Tiramisu with its distinctive green jelly finished with a smooth and tasty texture.
